"Which Edition of AD&D are you using?"
Okay, not bad - and quite entertaining, but I've got a few pedantic digs:
1) your command of the underlying game rules seems muddled; use of 'ThAC0' and the Armor Class implies 1st or 2nd edition, yet the bonuses for character attributes seems to follow 3.0 or 3.5 - I've got a 1st ed PHB next to the keyboard right now and attribs didn't give any bonuses until they got up to 15, not '1' at 12...
[I LIKE making 'soak' attribs like Int more meaningful (helping you read things :) But if you're going to slather "AD&D Engine" all over your effort, best to use a consistent ruleset ]
2) the opening fluff IS a little trite, but what really turned me off was the 1337-speke...if you're going to place a tolkienesque fantasy setting, dialogue needs to fit. :/
All in all, a good effort, just needs some polish (and ignore those who can't read the game's title: "AD&D Engine - FIGHTER" yet want spellcasting XD )

Well, nicely done - what little violence is thematically necessary, I gave it a high rating on 'humor' even though it's not funny because it's not SUPPOSED to be, the sound got a dig because the lyrics are too low (this is Trent's 'quiet' mix of "Hurt"?) I much prefer the Man in Black's cover, but NIN is more appropriate for the theme of the video.
And to top it all off, you're thanking US after giving us this work of art?!? :)

Well, firstly I'm rating it highly for two reasons - 1) I liked it, and 2) it's a collab, and I *know* how hard it is to get people to work together on something. XD
A little gorier than my tastes, but still suitably so for the song.
But my one pet peeve is that the song was featured in some movie, and now I'm pulling my hair out trying to remember what it is... <_<
Thanks I guess; now I got something to google around for in my spare time. :)

I agree with Jeremiah (when I saw "Love Bites by QED" my brain clicked 'It better not be a *cover*...') and I was disappointed to see my suspicions were founded.
Admittedly, I disagree that the original woulda been better - the cutesy-style female cover fits the cutsey-style anime.
Not bad, but nothing to rave to others about.
Author's Response:
Don't take this the wrong way but I've grown so tired of the crappy Def Lepard version. Like I said with Big in Japan... don't deny that the techno versions of songs are far superior. Granted some techno songs get too girly and such but for the love of god enough comments about the bland version of this song, PLEASE!!

C'mon; like none of us have wanted to do this? Simple, minimalist artistic style (which just makes it faster), imaginative methods (I really wasn't expecting THAT to happen with the chainsaw :) and even believable audio which (omg) stays in sync. :D
The only 'drawback', if you can call it that, is variety. Six methods is barely enough to give me amusement, but it DOES mean it loads faster than if there were thirty or forty. I'll be following another reviewer and checking out the updated version on your site.
In short; THANKS!

Speaking as a born and bred cannuck, I have to say "huh?!?" That...that was...well, ELEMENTS of it were quite good; the animation was fluid and well-drawn. The voice-overs were better than most commercial products, though the sound effects were not *shrug* The actual writing? Well, it...I'm sorry, but it smacks of 'ethnic joke'. The talent in communicating is quite good, it's just WHAT is being communicated that needs work...sorry.

"Meh - you're having fun; that's all that counts"
Okay, nay-sayers can go fly; I'm not much for dance/pop music, but you actually got my toe tapping. The big thing is - despite the pixellated resolution (which is to be expected) - you sincerely look like you're enjoying yourself, and it carries through to the audience.
If someone thinks its lame, that's their problem. The key thing here is someone here is *really* getting into a song, whether it's Enrico Caruso or Brittany Spears, Gene Simmons or Moby, Freddie Mercury or 50 Cent, enjoyment is infectious; keep rubbin' off on us, Gary! :D

Excellent job:
- the music is interesting enough to distract from the actual quiz! :)
- I especially LMAO about the first 'cheesecake' shot.
- challenging - nice work with misleading elements!
- a *little* long, especially with no 'savepoints'.
All in all, an original, entertaining addition to NG.
(and I'm 50-50 on real vs. hentai)

"C'mon - it's part of the culture"
I don't see why people slam this at all - apart from the original mistranslation in Zero Wing, and if you have so little sense of humor to see the point, then why are you coming *here*? :)
"All your base are belong to us" is now a gaming aphorism - is has transcended mere amusing error, and entered the collective consciousness like "A winner is you!", 'gibbing', and 'deathmatch'. If you dislike this, you probably dislike many common idioms.
True the graphics are a little dated, but that does not detract from the POINT of the flash - and plenty of people prefer substance over glitz. I personally love the catchy little jingle going on in my head for some time after the video stops :)
All in all, a classic for all time, and something that should never be removed! Thank you, bad_CRC, wherever you are in those vast TRIBES maps! :)
